All is well in Jacksboro, TX!

The report is good, and Nico and the group are very glad today is a rest day - yesterday's 95 mile ride was rough. After starting their ride at day break, they finally rolled into the Jacksboro community center (where they are staying) around 8pm. It was a hot, windy ride, with a flat but steady elevation climb. On the bright side - the community center has bunk beds, so they get 2 nights in beds instead of sleeping bags!!

He's looking forward to reaching the continental divide, so that they will get to start heading DOWNhill. Per his bike computer, they are currently at about 1000ft ASL and will climb to roughly 7000ft in the upcoming week.

He said to say hello to everyone (👋) and asked me to send some pics of the dogs for his next mail day, so I know he's thinking of home. I offered to send pics of his parents too ;)

Next rest stop - 7 short days. You got this, Nico!
